Sunshine

The wind across my face,
As I run from tree to tree.
Hoping to escape the person,
That I used to be.

Running from my troubles,
Won't get me very far.
But it is just as hard to face them.
When I don't know what they are.

My lie just took a turn.
And my sunshine turned to rain.
My smile is now broken,
And filled with lots of pain.

All I do is sit,
And cry my days away.
Hoping that my pain,
Isn't here to stay.

I just want my sunshine back,
And my rainbow to appear.
So I won't live my life,
With all this pain and fear!
