Could You

Could you take the world i feel
and the pain i bleed for
could you cover your ears and continue my fears
i sit and wonder from day to day
if you could make this go away

can you feel me walking in your shoes
i know you're feeling like this
these cold words i kiss
could you help me understand
why i reject my own hand
can you make me a better person than i am

can you take away this pain and the scars that remain
do whatever it should be
but please don't hurt me....
