Time goes by
as the days pass
i miss you more
with every minute that lasts

you were here one day
then i woke and you were gone
my baby boy left me
as did the crack of dawn

i loved you sweetie
with all of my heart
and when God took you
he tore it apart

I know i was too young
but you were the miracle i needed
you opened my eyes
i now have suceeded

but i miss you love
and give you my tears
because living without you
i cannot do for any years

so i will go now
leave this place
come to you
so i can see your face

i will no longer have to scream
and no longer will i cry
to you this is hello
and everyone else this si my good-bye

she held the letter
and his picture in her hand
the loss of her baby
she couldn't stand

her parents found her
lying as she must
letter and sonogram
their world turned to dust

she lost her baby
and now they lost theirs
life's not easy
and it sure is not fare
