I ask myself questions

Do you even remember
when you said
the words "i love you"
and kissed my head?

do you even remember
my smile so bright
when we talked for hours
all through the night?

do you even remember
how our love was free
and how you whispered
that you'll always love me?

I ask myself these questions
each and everyday
knowing that you'll never
hear me when I say

I don't know why this happened
I don't know why your gone
but I will always love you
