These Games...

by Josh   Sep 2, 2005

I can't take these games
You're dividing us
All the respect I once had for you
Is gone...
Maybe if you had a spine
And cared less about being superior to me
I would believe you when you cry

You say you're my friend
And you never meant to hurt me
But all you care about is you
If you put your ego in a stadium
It would overflow with ease

You make me contemplate if its worth it
Words can't express my torment, inside
I feel like a doormat; Sure! Wipe your feet on entry
But you are Astroturf in a big grassy field
I wish I didn't hate you
But my wishes don't come true

Your charm is your infantry
Your smile your sword
In your eyes it's nothing but fake
And inside, I'm about to break
