Now only the dullness shows

by cowgirlstar26   Sep 2, 2005

Stop the silence, stop the tears
stop the screaming you've held in all these years

for once be real
be who you wanna be
not what people tell you or what everyone else See's

I know who you are
because I'm like you
I know what it's like
I've been there too

to feel all alone
and not being excepted
to wanna be wanted
and not just rejected

you put on this face and hide behind the Hollister clothes
but you have no idea that some of us still know

I know who you are and I know what you were

I know what you used to do
but now when asked won't dare admit the truth

you have so much bitterness locked away inside
but when no one See's, you escape to the darkness and cry

I'm not like you I don't hide my screams
I don't pretend it doesn't hurt
when someone leaves me

everything you are is everything you loathe
so why pretend that there's this glow
when to me only your dullness shows
