Unrequited love

by Lenny   Sep 2, 2005

His eyes met mine so many times
From a seat so far away,
And the empty space beside him,
Still haunts my everyday,

As time progressed I learnt his name,
For the first time heard him speak,
And once I glanced a smile,
From a rewarding unplanned peek,

Now his face alights my dreams,
And for his love my scarred heart yearns,
But for now a gaze will have to do,

Until my name he learns.
