Cinderella

Cinderella, Cinderella,
Your fairy Godmother's heard your wishes
Turned you from rags from riches
To be Prince Charming's Princess
Even if your step-mother has other ideas
Because your own condition
At midnight, your carriage turns into a pumpkin.

And finally you arrive
Dancing under the soft twilight
You gaze into his eyes
But you're running out of time
So you vanished under the moonlight
And you've left your slipped behind
Cause you couldn't bear Prince Charmin'
To see you in rags sitting in a pumpkin
Because the spell wore off ad midnight.

Then a knock came at the door
It's the Prince with the slipped you had worn
But which sister
will wear the shiny slipper?
From this handsome visitor
You rush down from the attic,
in a nervous panic
no longer a victim of cruel antics.
But then the slipper shatters,
Your step-sisters break out into laughter,
You almost lost ever after
This one's a perfect fit,
sealed with a kiss.
