Shy

by Liz   Sep 2, 2005

Sitting here in solitude
To shy to speak or make a gesture
I might as well be a shadow
I sit here silent staring at the wall
I feel so timid, so small
Just thinking the day away
Time endless and so much to say
I try to speak and make a point
But my voice is weak and sad
Everyone goes quiet and stares at me
I feel so helpless and out of energy
I decide to keep my mouth shut
Sitting here in solitude
To shy to speak or make a gesture
I might as well be a shadow

OMG GOOD IDEA! well i was thinking about what to put on charlotte's grave thing (I'm doing the woodburning thing to make it) and I want to put ur poem on it! cause it make me remember the good times, and it honors her which is exactly what I wanted! And it's more personal, not just a quote written by someone who never knew her.
