My Fallen Star

by AloneInaCrowd   Sep 3, 2005

He stares deeply at me and I melt inside;
There's so much attraction which I cannot hide
It's him I do long for, yet it's from afar
Wishing to gentle this fallen star.

Asleep in my arms he quietly lays
His ears are now deaf to my wondrous praise
Held so close to me he is warm and content
He knows not how much his warm caring has meant.

And so I weep softly, as tears stream down fast;
My prayers are now fervent, our sweet love must last
I'll need his love always for he is a part
Of the tender emotions instilled in my heart.
