Jiuzhaigou Valley

Parentheses: The Jiuzhaigou Valley is located in Northern Sichuan province of China. In 1992, UNESCO named it as a World Heritage Site of natural beauty.

Jiuzhaigou means \"Nine Hamlets Valley\". The area is some 4,800 meters above sea level and comprises over 72,000 hectares and is renown for it\'s diverse and beautiful landscapes, diverse ecosystems, spectacular waterfalls, 140 bird species. It is also home for the giant Panda.

Jiuzhaigou Valley:

Jiuzhaigou Valley, part of our heritage
The valley of nine hamlets
Like heaven on earth
So magical and mystical, can there be such a place on earth?

Cascading waterfalls in a magical forest
Lakes of shimmering emerald and turquoise
Layers upon layers of pine and conifers
Air so fresh and sweet

This fairyland on earth
With lakes named Seas of Jade
In Autumn your display is such a panoramic array
Such a peaceful and poetic place

The giant panda can be found feeding on bamboo leaves
The splendor of the Five-Flower lake, beauty which words can not adequately portray
My heart rejoices for such natural beauty and grace
How can this be, there be such a place?
