Change

And she asked me
If you still care
Why is it like this

I couldnt answer
But we sealed the night
With a kiss

And I left
Fought away every moment
Burned into my mind

I knew
As I looked up at the familiar sky
You were the purpose I'd never find

And we tried
To hold onto something we couldn't grasp
And it was taken away

And through all of the nights
And all of the fights
There was nothing more left to say

So she moved on
And found more endings to her fairy tale
More Prince Charmings and another try

To see what life was like
See how easy it was
Without me in her life

And through it all
I sat idly by and bared it all
But still clung to every word you said

And it never changed
It was always you at night
That I couldn't get out of my head

But almost a year,
Spent wondering if this was anything,
Has stood between you and I

And every night that has passed
There hasn't been a time
When I haven't asked why

And I ask you know
If you still care
Why is it like this

Corey..that was a good poem. But sorry to say, usually when girls are like that in your poem..they have moved on. And if not, they are trying to see what else is out there. Dont get to attached, and if you already are..try to get "unattached" because usually they never come back to you.

Hopefully it all works out for you, and you find someone who will truly love you. Bye, for now Corey.
