I love you.

You are my day, my night, my dark and light,
You are my love, my pain, all else is vain.

My love for you shall never end,
At least while stars do shine,
as long as they are bright.
Forever, you'll be mine,
until the day becomes the night.

As long as birds do fly, and fishes swim,
My love for you will grow each day,
Like a rose in early May.

II.

You are my life, my death, my dream and grief,
I love you much, but you make my life so brief.
I love you still, but for you I sigh and sorrow,
I love you still, but will I love you tomorrow?

My love for you shall never end,
unless the time comes to a bitter end.

I loved you much, and still I do,
But love's pain does grow, and drinks my blood.

You were my right, my left, my up and down,
You were everything.

You were my love, my pain, now all is vain.

My love for you is vain, but I love you still.

I thought my love for you would never end,
I was wrong.
For everything ends, even feelings like love.

And now, with me, fall tears from above,
Crying pain with me,
For love should never have been.

But I love you still.
