Shattering Inside

by Deathcanwait   Sep 4, 2005

The curtains still are drawn
I never wanted to wake up
My heart still badly torn
It was you that made us break up
The walls still red with blood
My eyes still sore and red
From where they caused a flood
When you left me here for dead
Why say good bye?
And give that small, false wave?
You never saw me cry
You thought I was being brave
But in truth I admit
I was shattering inside
My wrists would soon be slit
My spirit slowly died
A vase dropped on concrete
An egg dropped from a plane
You caused my, sad defeat
Never to love again
Nothing lasts forever
You once brought me bliss
Now my veins, I sever
As you just take the piss
You sent me a cheap postcard
Saying how you felt
You had to make it oh so hard
Way bellow the belt
You kicked whilst I was down
And left me here to die
In my tears I drown
When Iâ??m gone
I hope you cry
