Sound Of Goodbye

by k i k i   Sep 4, 2005

Tap dripping to the beating of my heart,
And the rush of hate filled emotion.
Swaying from side to side,
Resting my head upon my pillow,
Just hoping for the best,
Plus for the sounds, drift me to sleep.

Dreams awakening me during the night,
Stumbling out of the warmth of my bed.
Crying out the fear,
Just wanting someone to hold me close.
Turn of the light again,
Cuddling to my teddy, my only friend.

Left abandoned, no one to talk to,
I scream for some justice.
I only long for you,
To share this dream with, to grasp of a night.
You left with no goodbye,
Whisked away in the echo of me.
