Life Flashing Before Me

by Katrina Boblina   Sep 5, 2005

One last cut on
this day will be carved.
A fight so simple
hit me so hard.

Suddenly my life
flashes before my eyes
I'm seeing the reasons
for all of my cries.

Fight after fight
consumes my memory
All of the hurt, the pain
it's all that I can see.

I know this was meant to be
and I don't regret any of this.
I'm dying as a symbol
that I wont be a miss.

Then I'm starting to think
I almost wish I could die twice
just to see my families faces
when they find there hearts as ice.

But suddenly I see
All of us laughing
were sitting together
our love, everlasting

A memory I know,
to be one of few,
A memory I have
of Me, and yes mom, you.

Too bad I let go
because of one little fight
and at that last moment,
everything went white.

The ending was a littñe predictable, but you made it sound very special, the story where you see all the bad, then suddenly you see all the good. That earnt you a 5.5! Very nice.

    Good Writing!
