last night

by nikki   Nov 22, 2003

Hold me close, hold me tight
For I never slept a wink last night
For in my bed about to sleep
Around the corner his head peps
I just laid there with my eyes shut
He would leave, with any luck
But he just stood there, gazing at my bed
I just laid there, as if dead
He’d whisper my name again and again
The fear of it all, the amount of pain
He had done this several times before
But always kept beyond the door
But last night he crept in
He went and did the alto mate sin
He got into my bed and covered my mouth
Undid my trousers and unbuttoned my blouse
My eyes opened widely, I just couldn’t move
He held me tightly until he was through
When he was gone I laid there stunned
For I couldn’t believe what he had just done
I told my mother but she refused to believe
For after last night he had achieved
He achieved his goal, and now he’s came past the door
I wonder if he’ll come back for more
So hold me close, hold me tight
For I never slept a wink last night.

It's very annoying how you have commented on all of my poems in the same way you know!
