Sorry

"I'm Sorry"

You have always known me as
pretty, happy, and tall
You loved me and
everyday in the hall you
would blow me a kiss
waiting and waiting
for the day to get over
so you could be with me at last
Then on day i'm not there
no kisses to blow to me
The next thing you know
you are blowing a kiss to me
as you look at me in my casket
so sad and scared
You turn my wrists over
and see the words engraved
in my wrists, they say
"I'm Sorry

Your poem was truely powerful. It really makes you think about how everyday things effect certain people. If you get a chance, check out some of mine.
