Locked In

by k i k i   Sep 5, 2005

Twinged, tied in a knot,
Stomach scruffy, with no way out.
Turning insides into the outsides,
Heart pumping fast, fiercely effective.
Feature of me, the waterfall, water display
Of everlasting tears that fade.

Scared of letting someone in,
Sewn tight, breathing alone.
Melodies I sing, to calm myself to sleep,
Dreaming of a new me, reformed.
Upside down, in the sky,
Where I must climb to make a stance.

Insecurities of the unknown, all of love,
Freaked and scared, please hear me.
Under radar, your every move,
Taken down, watched and replayed.
Heroic act of kindness,
Saving you, saving for me.
