But you Don't

by Jamie   Sep 5, 2005

**apparently i got into the whole repitition deal but yeah this explains itself well i think, no metaphors or anything***

If only you knew the way I felt
When I slip this blade across my skin
If only you could be there for me
But I'm too unsure to let you in

If only you knew the way I felt
When I lay down crying on my floor
If only you could comfort me
The way nobody has done before

If only you knew the way I felt
When I lock myself inside my head
If only you could convince me
That I'm not better off dead

If only you knew the way I felt
When my world comes crashing down
If only you could save me
Instead of watching me as I drown

If only you knew the way I felt
When I long to hear your voice
If only you could help me figure out
That this isn't my only choice

If only you knew the way I felt
When I watch all my blood drain
If only you could stop me from
Cutting away all this pain

If only you knew the way I felt
When I feel my lives unreal
If only you could keep me safe
From myself and how I feel

Pfff this deserves more than a '4.2' rating! I really really liked this one Jamie...and by the way, I posted comments on many of your other poems, around seven or so, but I'm not sure they registered...if they didn't, do tell me!
