Choking back these angry tears
Holding in everything I feel
Draped in a secure disguise
Torn apart trying to conceal

Never knew what I was losing
Until I lost it to the unknown
Never did I see it coming
Till I was abandoned so alone

Washing over my filthy soul
Drowning me in guilt
Walls and ceilings crumbled
Reconstructed and rebuilt

Never quite as strong as before
Weakened by every word I lied
Running around in circles
Trying to lace up the holes inside

Although you are fading quickly
I stare blankly into your eyes
Hiding the disaster I'm feeling
So sick of these empty goodbyes

Instant pain follows your exit
Blood and tears collide
Left alone with anger and hurt
Feelings which don't seem to subside
