A Human Touch

by Lisa Reed   Nov 22, 2003

Hitlers no-one special neither is Hussien,
No-one gave them paradise or the world to reign,
They don’t seem to understand
That we are people too
How on earth can we all live
These men just have no clue.

We say our little prayers,
For peace to come our way,
When will we all have a chance,
When we can have our say.

Children have been dying,
There lives they lived in pain,
There just seems to be no hope,
When these men are all in saine.

We try to help our fellow friends,
We give them what they need,
There’s so much more that they could have,
If only they were freed.

The same star shines on all of us,
It shines in many ways,
For us its something beautiful,
That’s always here to stay.

But if you look much closer,
It is a ray of hope,
For all the little children,
Who feel they cannot cope.

So next time when your praying,
Of peace around the world,
Just say an extra prayer,
And hope it will be heard.

These people need a miracle,
They need salvation too,
Just think of how bad you would feel,
If maybe it was you.

So don’t take things for granted,
Or even ask for much,
When all these people really need,
Is a friendly human touch.
