Death is the Cry

by M MEM   Sep 5, 2005

The fire of the sun
Burns across the valley.
They don't know,
That death lies among them,
The moon is gone,
The horses are running wild.
Screams shall fill the morning,
Death is the cry.

For a short poem, that has a lot of power. Great Job, and thanks for the comment. but, what I like about it most, is that the meaning is open to interpritaion, thats awesome.
