Written_In_Blood

by Kurt   Sep 6, 2005

I wrote for you a poem
I want for you to read it before
You ask about my scars

My hand a bloody bandage
You sit down beside me and open my letter.
Inside is a bloodstained sheet.
You open and read it without fear.

Tears stream down your cheeks
You wrap me in your embrace
You set the letter at our feet.
In your eyes i see a passion burning strong

In my heart i feel a passing of time and pain.
You keep holding me for i dont know how long.
It begins to storm and rain.
And your tears ease away all my pain.

An interesting read, it has some strong and some interesting lines. It keeps you in suspense, which is good and maybe there should be a part 2, that would certainly be interesting and I would love to read it if there was.
    One point is this line:
"You open and read it without out fear."
I don't think you meant to use "out" twice.
You have an interesting and a unique style which is always refreshing and enjoyable to see.
Keep writing, you have some good ideas.
