To lose a friend...

by Serendipity08   Sep 6, 2005

To lose a friend it suddenly feels as if a part of you is missing.

You turn around to say something and no one is there.

You feel alone even though you are surrounded by people who say they care for you.

At night, when you lie in bed, you wonder if life is worth living, and you wish you were anywhere but here.

You feel a chill and shiver even when you are standing outside in the sun, and the world feels darker even though it really isn't.

To lose a friend it may seem as if your life is ending but in fact, it has just begun.

When you lose a friend, you will eventually come to except it and move on.

The pain may seem unbearable but only then can the real healing begin.
