New Friend

I have a new friend and his name is Kobi
Once I first introduced myself it did not take long for him to get to know me
Intriguing because we share so many of the same common interests
Get along so great because for each other we have a great mutual respect

Fast friends to a friendship that I hope will last forever
Always hoping that I receive mail from this certain sender
Brightens my mornings with his words of wisdom
Our friendship just began recently but if we stopped talking I would surely miss him

Soccer is the game we both like to play
Writing poetry in the spare moments of our days
Jammin to the same tracks I be listening to
Rhyming away to the same lyrics that I do

Studying in school while working part time
Dedicated to his future is a true sign
That he cares about himself and those that surround him
Through all these great qualities and many more proves he is such a gentleman
