I prayed last night
prayed to understand
prayed god would show me a different light
in this life i cant stand

in a way he gave me a sign
tried to tell me why
but all i was thinking about is what i want
make like a bird and fly

but i need to see
what god wants from me each day
wherever god is thats where i should be
thats the only way

i guess with riko isn't right
thats what god had to say

so here we are as friends
putting love in the past
forgetting what we had
and let our friendship last.
