My Fragile Angel

by Jacklyn   Sep 7, 2005

Drifting out of reality,
dosing into dreams.
Walking becomes so swiftly,
and I think of you my dear.

Baring wings of angels,
half orange and half yellow.
My pale and fragile lover,
only my dreams can reach you

With straggly hair of brown,
scattered Columbine Blue,
Scents enticing me to you,
beauty of a Sirens alluring voice.

As you sit there so uncloaked,
reveling every inch of smooth skin,
begging for your tender love,
unable to reach you my dear.

Sitting there alone,
bathing in God's purifying pond.
Missing you my love
my fragile angel of my life.

Sirens are from the Odyssey, they carry beautiful voices and when they sing no one can resist but going towards them. His crew had to put bee\'s wax in their ears too not hear their singing. They tied Odysseus to the boat so he could hear them but not go to them. Their voices were very alluring bringing many men to their death.
