Is it just you or is it just me?
Or is it for both of us to see,
That we are not rivals but,
Partners from the very start.

We had a trying time,
To put this on the line,
And when we did, we try,
Just how to make it die??

Isn't it strange that two of us,
Best of friends to make anyone jealous,
Trying hard to hit out at each other,
Causing to us lot of discomfiture.

Why is it so that once inseparable,
Spend their times in petty squabble.
Asking what good I have been to you,
Forgetting that I had for you a love so true.

Why is it so that we are bent on drifting apart,
Two souls eternally bound from the start,
With a love that was heaven sent,
Bound on taking it to the saddest end.

    I love this part mostly, some love just do not have a very happy ending.

    Hope your life has a happy ending though. Keep it up, you are a great writer.
