Because of You

The world is spinning round,
I hide behind my curtain of hair,
Surround myself in darkness,
For you I wait to care,

You caress my skin,
Make my heart skip a beat,
Whenever your hear,
I'm swept of my feet,

I don't want to make,
The same mistake,
Knowing I love someone,
But there love is fake,

Although you broke my soul,
Threw my trust back in my face,
I still can't stop thinking of you,
Always having my hearts place,

Because of you I have learnt to love,
I learnt to live,
I learnt to fight,
And leant to give,

Even though I've lost a piece,
Of profound happiness pure true,
I also gained a new spirit,
All because of you.
