Gucci Seams

Just the other day I was forced to kill some time,
I introduced an imaginary shopping spree to a friend of mine.
We both had almost no money, but that's when it got fun,
You'd never imagine what we had just done.

A mediocre fantisty from the rich to the poor,
Upon Holt Renfrew, Tiffanys and Fendi we let our eyes adore.
The designer shoes and Jewllery of all different brands,
My friend could'nt believe the excitement of a coat worth four grand!

She picked out this magnificent Gucci coat and put it on my back,
To only dream of four thousand on your arms covered with the sude of lilac.
Only a girl could dream of actually being able to afford a coat like this,
Upon my body I experinced a flash of ultimate shopping bliss.

"I wonder what it would be like to spend four grand on a coat,\"
As I said those words they got caught in my throat.
She laughted and said, "If you bought that coat you'd have to wear it everyday for a year,
"I laughed so hard that my eyes started to tear.
You'd see me all the time, even while I'd sleep,
Sporting my Gucci coat "Gotta get wear out of it, this wasn't cheap."

As I slipped the fantisy coat off my jealous arms to its place on the rack,
Sadly I departed with my love of expensive suede, to a pat on my back.
My friend asked me if I was trapped in dream,
I replied "Of Coarse, Try it on,I can't explain the feeling of being cloaked in Gucci seams."

This Poem I wrote for my friend after we spent an afternoon killing time in Holt Renfrew (an amazing designer department store.) We came accross this Gucci coat that was absolutly stunning. I felt like a little girl playing dress up in my Moms closet. We had such a good time that I just had to write a little poem about it.
