Ferris Wheel

by Nikki Pixie   Sep 7, 2005

It's been so long since I've cried myself to sleep,
Sometimes I wonder if I'll forget how it sounds to weep.
It's been so long since I was perfect,
Sometimes I feel like a complete reject.
My life is like a Ferris wheel,
Up and down, down and up, too much to deal.

It's been so long since I cut,
Sometimes I feel like a worthless mutt.
It's been so long since I've been happy,
Sometimes I'm told I've become snappy.
My life is like a Ferris wheel,
Down and up, up and down, too much to deal.

It's been so long since I could feel,
Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever heal.
It's been so long since I've revealed myself,
Sometimes it seems like I keep me on a shelf.
My life is like a Ferris wheel,
Up and down, down and up, too much to deal.
