LIARS NEVER WIN

by Philipa   Sep 7, 2005

It wasn't because I didn't realize the true
It was just because I wanted to hear it from you
I was sick and tired of all of your lies
Did you know that I could see it in your eyes?

I tried to provoke you to tell me to leave
There wasn't really anything to achieve
You just shouldn't get away with it so easily
I didn't understand why it was so hard to tell me

You said I stressed you because you were drunk
Wouldn't hurt me, but my ship had already sunk
There was nothing you could say to make me sadder
So what the reason was didn't really matter

I know it wasn't sweet to put that pressure on you
But it was just a way to tell you, give you a clue
I treated you the same way as you treated me
I hate liars and that was why I treated you so badly

After all none of us were really hurt, we're still friends
So even though it all sucked this isn't how it ends
For you were interested in me the last time we spoke
So all I can do now is laugh for it all begin to look like a joke
