Wishing for more

If friends were all it was ever meant to be.
Then that is good enough for me.

I will not lie and say I did not want more.
Hard not too when you have someone you adore.

Not often in life you meet that special person.
And even less that you realize it when you do

But one thing clicks, and then their are two.
And before you know it the my feelings grew

There are times I will always wonder,

How it would be, to hold the key.

The key to love and make you see.

My love for you could set you free

The rain may fall, and the clouds cover the ski,

but you will always be the shining star for this plain and simple guy.

So if I have but one wish today.

I would wish for your true happiness comes to you every second of every day.

And hope that someday, you will look my way.
