I'm getting down on my knee
Offering all of me
Showing you the ring
Finally living my dream

My heart is beating
Can I be dreaming
Is it time
Will she be mine

I've been alone all these years
Having so many fears
And crying so many tears
But can this all be real

This is forever
Always together
This can't be a mistake
Do I still have time to escape

You take my hand in yours
And my heart soars
Will I no longer be alone
Does my heart never have to roam

you get down and look into my eyes
With one last kiss
This is it
You say goodbye.

    Awwww, Aaron... That is such a sad, sad poem... I like how you put a twist in the end... Throughout the poem you make it seem like the girl will say yes, but in the end she says goodbye... WOW... I wish I was as good of a poet as you... and any girl would be stupid to say goodbye to you... I love you lots, my bestestest friend in the whole wide world!
