Forever Meant To Be

Two and a half years ago,
I fell in love with you.
I thought it was the best thing,
and I knew that it was true.

Even though we're not together,
I still know we're meant to be.
And I don't care what anyone says,
because you belong to me.

I know that you still love me,
and I know that you still care.
I can see it all in your eyes,
the feelings that we share.

I shouldn't have left you for him,
I was so messed up inside.
Now I can't forgive myself,
for taking you on that ride.

But I have to let you go now,
atleast till you come back to me.
