Fate has a way...

So here we are again,
I guess it must be fate
We both thought this could never happen,
that we would both go our separate ways
Only time will tell what our future will hold starting today
Here we are now finding feelings lost so many years ago.
Feelings of love, believing in fate and overwhelmed with desire
All these emotions racing through our bodies
Trying to find a place to go
Swirling in the winds of time
Surrounding us
It is then I realize...

You are the love I want in my life
I want to be with you
for the rest of all time
Holding you close like never before
I want to be beside you
and so much more
Who would have thought our friendship could lead to this,
Something that started with just a little kiss.
I promise I will hold you and never let go
You are the one who I have been waiting for to make me whole
I have had thoughts of making sweet love to you all night long into the morning well after dawn

Feeling your body so close to mine
Wanting to stay lost in this moment for ever in time
Swaying to the rhythm of a lovers heartbeat
The desire for your love has swept me right off of my feet.

Give this love a chance to cross that line
Promise me that you will always be mine
From friendship to lovers with the slightest touch of your hand
The thought of my life without you is one I can not withstand.

I will give you a love, one like never before
One that will give you so much happiness if you would just open up that door.
I will give you my heart, my body and soul
Let my love take you in make you whole.

We both have been walking so blindly through life
Not knowing what this path we walk will bring
Just put your hand in mine and we will have the strength
To get through ANYTHING!
You are my best friend one I can confide in
Put your trust into this love, open your arms and hold me tight
I long to whisper these words, make love to me tonight
