I love you MORE

You say you love me like I love you
I find that kinda hard to believe
because if you did, I'd have no fear
LOVE instead of doubt I would receive

To me you swear you'll change
It happens time & time again
For months & months I hear your words
Quit giving hope & tell me when

It's up to you to do this
No one can change yourself but you
I'm so scared if you don't, I'll wait around
Waiting for your words to become
true

Sometimes I think the words you speak
You spit out to shut me up
When all I want is to benefit you
You can't stand the truth, so what?

You might not understand why I wrote this poem, but it has more meaning than you think, just like mine and everyone else's.
