Reaper of My Soul

by Michael D Nalley   Sep 8, 2005

When I was young my thoughts were all fresh
Innocent with no sins of the flesh
I was born to be a man. I was born to thrive
The night will fall, and the reaper will arrive

My passions ignited burned like a fire
Consumed by the flame of my own desire
As sure as the sun rises, and I am alive
The night will fall, and the reaper will arrive

Those who sow love shall one day reap
So now I have a heart to keep
Like the sun our love shall survive
The night will fall, and the reaper will arrive

What once was dark now is light
As the day turns into night
Our senses are uplifting joy. bless all five
The night will fall, and the reaper will arrive
