What We Were Missing

by Bill Turner   Sep 10, 2005

We spent our lives searching for what we were missing
Always looking but not knowing why
Then that first moment we spent kissing
I knew we would be together until we die

When I heard your voice in my ear
I felt the rush of all our past lives
All I wanted was you near
As we have been in all of our lives

You felt the pull of our love too
Opening our hearts to the others
It all seemed so new
Bonding as twin soul lovers

We are building a wonderful life
Respect, love, passion and desire
We gave our vows, husband and wife
We will always be together, burning with desire

I will honor you until the end
I have never trusted another with my heart
You are my best friend
We both ache when we are apart
