Darkness ©

Darkness will eventually claim its place,
To change the emotion thats fixed on my face.
Gently as it weaves itself into my life,
To surrunder to the aching of the distant knife.

The shadows will keep me, hold on to me tight,
My body is shaking, it wont put up a fight.
Focused on the hurting, the thing that feels so real,
Opening up the wounds, that inside refuse to heal

My insides clench tight, my body; weak,
Hiding beneath memories im forced to keep.
Introduced to the hurting of broken lies,
As the darkness gradually closes my eyes.
