I can only hope/as i cry

It hurts,
i cry,
my hearts pain,
is in my eyes,
you can't see,
nor will you try,
i sit here and i cry,
with the thought of you and her in my mind,
you seemed so kind,
couldn't see,i was blind,
blind to what everyone told me would happen,
bet you didn't think this to be my reaction,
sad she'll feel this way soon enough,
i try and act all tough,
it's all a act,
i care,what have i lacked,
to make you go away,
i wish you could've stayed that day,
you did the same things to me,
i hope it ends up to be,
like it was with us,
so at least she wasn't more than i was,
i hope she isn't more than i am,
i can only hope
