Our Final Lunch

by Love Fallacy   Sep 11, 2005

Today we decided that we would meet,
For lunch at Hooters, we would eat,
I pick you up, and drive us there,
I can't help at you I stare,

These looks I give, you can't see,
In my mind, I think of you and me,
My nerves they twitch and move around,
My heart it thumps and it pounds,

Now we talk about what has become,
Our love still there, but our relationship gone,
It makes me sad that you have gone away,
Never with me for another day,

Our meal is over, I take you home,
After that, I will be all alone,
I give you a hug, that will be our last,
Everything we had, is now just the past,

The hug we gave, this time made me sad,
Unlike the past, where they made me glad,
After this hug, no kiss was there,
At your beautiful face, I could only stare,

It hit me hard, this was really it,
Me and you, it's time we split,
In my truck, I race off fast,
Leaving our relationship in the past
