Wishing She Was There

***Sry, this is a redo of my poem "Go Back" My old PC was giving me issues when I tried to put in some words and stuff so... here you go! Please rate this! I will return the favor if only you ask! :)***

Lost, forlorn, without him by her side
Knowing she cant see him
Stifling her cries
Holding to the past
Wishing she was there
The end had come at last
She knows that life's not fair
Every step she takes
Another battle won
So these were the stakes?
She thought he was the one
Recalling his handsome laughter
His messy light-blond hair
Knowing she cant have him
More than she can bear

Light turns dark, love to h a t e
All the pieces scatter
Always lonely to the heart
All the feelings shatter

What do you seek? Where will you go?
She asks him in the end
She knew he'd say he didn't know
No longer his only friend
Months on after that
Still cried herself to sleep
Wishing she could go back
The pain would always keep
Her heart was holding on
But her mind was letting go
It was dark before the dawn
How could she sink so low?

Light turns dark, love to h a t e
All the pieces scatter
Always lonely to the heart
All the feelings shatter

Life went on but she stayed back
Her mind would always wonder
The days were always cold and black
The bling of the thunder
Bitter glares, cold as stone
Happiness forgotten
Crying there all alone
Her heart was now besotten
In her troubled mind,
No point it served
Searching for something she couldn't find
More to than she deserved
A living tale, Trash and
Her heart could finally stop
She took her final, painful breath
She blindly took the drop

So, light turns dark, love to h a t e
All the pieces shattered
Always lonely to her heart
All the feelings scattered
