Carrying Me Nowhere

by k i k i   Sep 11, 2005

Whisper in the nights thunder,
Scaring me, I'm awake now.
A call to help,
Me, myself and to hide the damage.
Tying the rope,
Cutting all loss off.

Trees screeching, branches falling,
Swaying under the moonlight.
Rustled and disturbed,
Standing here on the ground, alone.
Direction of where I'm going,
Completing lost, just like me.

Can't cover up all the bad,
It's with me, and you know that.
It's not alright, I can't forget,
Times where pain eased the hurt.
Bitter sweetness, I'll pull through,
With the thought I will carry on.
