Suffocating

by Lisha Renae   Sep 11, 2005

My eyes glued shut,
Sew my mouth closed.
Gravity doesn't hold me down.
My Mind runs wild,
You'll never catch me.
I'll never choose,
Just show me the light.
Becuz I'm enclosed in darkness,
But I still peek.
I'd love to see,
But I'm deaf so please
Do something for me.
I touch you,
But I can't feel you.
No matter how close I get,
I'm still far away.
The cement hardens between us,
I try to reach you,
But my body shatters.
Can't I taste life just once?
Or should I live in this fog forever?
I can smell you,
But I still can't see.
I reach out to feel,
But I realize I can't.
Dissapointment overwhelms me,
I'm drowning in my sorrow.
You say suck it up,
so I inhale
slowly choking myself to death.
