42.

by Grace   Sep 11, 2005

We're 42 miles apart,
we're far away from each other.
But your still here.
With me always.

Every place I see,
theres a memory of you,
Your face flashes into my mind,
as innocent tears roll down my cheeks.
I think, I wonder, I dream,
all about you and me.

Missing you,
I cry,
Don't give up hope,
I still see you standing there.
I still see your face,
its burning a hole through my mind.
It gets bigger and bigger,
like a hole on old ripped jeans.
But then I see you,
and its all ok.
The hole in my mind has been sewed back together.

Long weeks,
short weekends.
How I wish those nights could never end,
the nights I spent with you.
Laying on the grass,
looking at the stars,
talking about our lives,
together and apart.

I wait for every weekend,
the weeks are long and hard,
but every single kiss,
every single time I look into your eyes,
it makes it all worth it.
Every part of you is worth it.

42 miles apart,
we will find a way.
