Jump

by Laura   Sep 11, 2005

I jump to get it
It's out of my reach
This is a lesson
Mom didn't teach

I jump to get it
You pull it away
I hate going through this
Every single day

I jump to get it
You point and laugh
I thought we equaled love
But I did the wrong math

I jump to get it
You hold it up higher
Why am I doing this?
You were the liar

I jump to get it
Then i finally fall
And when I hit the floor
You had it all

Please give it back
It keeps me alive
Because without it
I won't survive

And as you look
Into my eyes
You do nothing
But watch me cry

You kept it for yourself
You got what you want
I hope your happy
Because it's me you haunt

Give me my heart
The one that you stole
Hurry...
Before you have my soul

PLEASE let me know what u think, good or badd!!!! comment/vote
