I remember you, you made me smile,
When in my life, I didn't feel worthwile.
It was always nice to see you laugh and joke,
But your life was taken from you with that small bit of smoke.
You probably woke to that horrible smell,
And thinking "oh s**t, this is hell"
At the windows I am sure you tore,
But there is only one winner in this kind of war.
God left you there, to your death,
With nothing of your house left.
It must have been awful when your parents returned,
To find you, their son, charred and burned.
All over your body were many gashes,
And just like you, your house was in ashes.
It hurts so much to know that that small f**king wire,
Caused you to die in the fire.
You were so young and had so much left to do,
Why did you die? Why did it have to be you?
You were always so friendly and nice,
Even to people you didn't like.
You didn't deserve to die, not now, not like this,
You are someone who is truly missed.
Through this time which is sad and dark,
You have left on all of us your final mark.
So I leave this now, with goodbye to you friend,
I have a feeling we will one day meet again...
