Grandad

A rose once bloomed
Deep red in hue
Revealing it's magnificence
To all it knew

It grew and grew
Full of life
Not a care in the world
No troubles or strifes

Until one day
It grew to the other side
Leaving a gap
No one could hide

Three roses soon bloomed
Deep red in hue
But not as magnificent
As the beauty they never knew
